Why should you chip your pet?
Socks was brought in by a trapper to be neutered. While getting him ready for surgery one of our vet techs noticed he had already been neutered so she scanned him for a microchip – which he had. We were able to contact his owners who had been looking for him for almost 8 months. The trapper had picked him up less than 2 miles from his home.
Owners Daniel and Angela were so excited to get their boy back. They let us know that "the neighborhood loves Socks. He often visits the church and his neighbors. He helps with the pumpkin patch but didn’t get to this year since he was missing."
May is Chip Your Pet Month. Make sure you microchip your pet so you can find them if they get lost.
