Happy Tails: Baby Boy and other cats get vaccinations and flea medications
About six months ago, Rebecca found a tiny, feral kitten in the bushes near her home. Despite his wild nature, she managed to tame him and named him Baby Boy. Rebecca had previously brought her cat Calli to us for spaying in 2020. However, she didn’t have the funds to get Baby Boy neutered, or buy flea medication for her other felines to address the flea outbreak in her house.
Rebecca was very concerned about how she would be able to afford everything needed for her beloved pets. Because she lived in a grant-supported ZIP code, she could get Baby Boy neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated for free. We also updated the vaccinations for her other cats, Calli and Baby Girl, and provided flea medication for all three cats. This helped get all her cats current with the City of Dallas requirements and addressed the flea problem she was facing at home.
“Spay Neuter Network are angels for assisting us with my babies,” she said. “I am so grateful for programs like this that support our community.”
Baby Boy, who is now seven months old, Calli, who is four years old, and Baby Girl, who is ten years old, are all happy and healthy, thanks to the supporters who make this work possible.
