Experiencing homelessness is one of life’s more difficult challenges, but having a pet can provide solace to an individual living on the street. Through our Pet Assistance Program for the Homeless, Spay Neuter Network partners with local social service organizations to bring free services, like spay/neuter surgeries, wellness vaccines, microchips, and flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives to pets belonging to this vulnerable population. When Choppa’s family arrived at a recent clinic in Dallas, he received free vaccines and preventatives and a voucher for free spay and neuter to ensure his health for the coming year. Thanks to our donors and supporters, we can help keep pets with the ones they love – no matter their family’s circumstances.
Your donation will help us help offer free and low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services to those who need it the most. $100 will neuter a large dog. $55 will neuter a cat.
We are also proud to announce that Choppa’s parents are now on the path to a more permanent residence thanks to our partners at The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center.
