When Jenny found two-year-old Gaia, she had just emerged from a nearby body of water. She was soaking wet, sitting in the middle of a Dallas road, refusing to move. Jenny immediately stopped to help. When she opened the door, Gaia jumped right into her truck.
As a rescuer, Jenny had used Spay Neuter Network’s low-cost services before, so she brought Gaia in to get her spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and have her tested for heartworm. Thankfully, she was negative! Because of grant funding, we could provide Jenny with a $20 surgery package that ensured Gaia got everything she needed before Jenny found her a new and loving home.
With your help, we’ve sterilized more than 300,000 dogs and cats, administered more than 400,000 vaccinations and transported 60,000 dogs and cats for surgery. Donations made during North Texas Giving Day will help us to continue our mission of eliminating pet overpopulation through spay/neuter.
