Happy Tails: Negra

Hope welcomed one-year-old Negra into her family after taking her in as a stray. She wanted to be a responsible pet owner and make sure Negra received the care she needed, but she was concerned about the cost of spay surgery and preventive services.

After a friend shared a Spay Neuter Network flyer with her, Hope reached out for guidance. Our team helped her schedule an appointment for Negra to be spayed and receive a rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, and microchip.

“Everyone was so helpful and explained everything clearly. I’m very happy you could help me help my cat!” Hope shared.

Through a free ZIP code grant, Hope was able to get Negra the care she needed without having to delay her appointment. She also received information about additional pet resources available in the community.

“This program made a huge difference for our family. Without it, we probably would have had to put off getting her spayed for much longer.”

Thanks to supporters like you, we can help families like Hope’s overcome financial barriers while keeping pets like Negra healthy and preventing future unwanted litters.
