April 24 Ten Bells Tavern 231 W. 8th Street, Dallas 75208 Check-in: 7am Transport returns at 5pm Only 25 cats can be taken at the Ten Bells transport location. Only SR numbers are accepted at this transport. NO DOGS will be accepted on this transport. No appointments are taken for this location. Arrive by 7:00 am and cats will be taken on first-come-first-serve basis. Friendly cats may be brought in a hard-sided cat carrier. Feral cats must be brought in a humane trap. One cat per trap/carrier. Soft carriers will not be accepted. City of Dallas residents may qualify to get feral/community cats fixed for free using the 311 Service Request (SR) number program. Details: Get an SR number online at https://dallascrm.force.com/public/servicetypes Once you click the link select Animal Care and Control and then select Animal Community Cat Program. Fill out all the information on the cats and get the SR number. Bring the SR number to the clinic or transport location with the cats. *Ear tipping is where the tip of the left ear is clipped while under anesthesia. This is painless to the cat and is very important once you release it back into the community. Surgery cost is $65 for females and $55 for males but thanks to Dallas Pets Alive, the cost for a female spay (with rabies shot) is $31 and male neuter (with rabies shot) is $21. DPA will sponsor the first 28 cats taken at the Crandall clinic.
