North Texas Pet Food Pantry and Spay Neuter Network have joined forces

This December the North Texas Pet Food Pantry and Spay Neuter Network have joined forces to help pets of families in need in the Pleasant Grove area of South Dallas.

Thanks to this partnership, families in financial need can receive food and affordable to free care for their beloved pets during the holiday season and thereafter. The program also provides an opportunity to connect with the community on education efforts for proper pet care.

These families will be identified through Spay Neuter Network’s current collaboration with Dallas Animal Services and the “CARE Team” (Companion Animal Resource Effort). The team walks the streets speaking to residents one-on-one sharing information about the benefits of spay or neuter and setting up appointments for free surgeries.
