Make a Difference on World Spay Day

On World Spay Day, February 25th you can help create compassionate communities free of homeless pets. At Spay Neuter Network, we believe that providing these services is the key to reducing pet overpopulation, and today, we’re asking for your help.

Your donation makes affordable, and sometimes free, lifesaving care possible for the families of the pets we serve like Miguel and his cat Pinta.

When Miguel received Pinta as a birthday gift, she was one of several kittens in need of care. Malnourished and suffering from multiple urinary tract infections, Pinta needed extra support. Miguel nursed her back to health, but he knew he still needed to get her spayed. Miguel reached out to his friends and family asking for advice to find an affordable option to get her fixed. Thankfully, a family friend told him about Spay Neuter Network.

While Pinta was getting spayed, we discovered that she had pyometra, a life-threatening bacterial infection in her uterus. Thanks to our Acts of Kindness fund, made possible by donors like you, we covered the extra costs for antibiotics, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Miguel was overwhelmed with gratitude. He said, “things like this help people out so much.” Today, Pinta is happy, healthy, and safe with her hero Miguel, but so many pets still need help.

Donate today to support more Acts of Kindness and provide support to pet owners like Miguel.
