That deserves a big CONGRATULATIONS as you have just taken the first step to reaching your surgical potential!
At this point – I am primarily coordinating with vets case by case on dates that work for both of us. So do not hesitate to email me!
Many local vets (Dallas/Fort Worth) are doing 1-2 days/month as their schedules allow. Days run from 8:30am to approximately 4pm at the very latest. Most participants bring their lunch, but you are welcome to leave to get lunch or have it delivered. Surgeries will continue throughout the day regardless of individual lunches.
If you are coming from out of town – you will need to sign up for our 3 day course. 3 consecutive days allow participants to get the most out of the program. Sessions generally run Tues/Wed/Thurs. Lodging will need to be secured by participants. We operate primarily out of our Dallas and Fort Worth clinics. You will need a Texas license to participate in the program. Temporary licenses may be obtained by contacting the state board directly to initiate the process (ie cannot be done online). Plan to start the process at least 30 days prior to your scheduled mentor dates.

TUITION FOR 3 DAY COURSE – $750/participant
Mentees typically do 10-15 surgeries per day, but many complete far fewer in the beginning. As participants become more proficient – there are tracks within SNN that allow them to be paid for their completed surgeries.
RACE approved CE credits are available – cost is $50/day to receive ce credit.
My style of teaching is catered to the needs of each participant. I only host 2 (occasionally 3) participants at a time. I observe and guide, scrubbing in as needed to assist or demonstrate techniques. I spay a dog in 6 minutes (regardless of size) and a cat in 4. I like to give suggestions on specific things to focus on during the day, after I have had a chance to observe a person’s current level and technique. I am on hand to help handle any challenges that arise throughout the day.
